HOW IT ALL WORKS

 

Well, there are 2 aspects to an on hold message service. The messages themselves and the equipment or format to play the messages via the telephone.

Some of our clients choose to have the messages produced on a CD format and they have the CD connected to their phone system and other clients choose a more reliable system like our the digital player.

NB It is a legal requirement to have a line isolation unit connected to the phone system.  This is to protect the voltage to the phone system.

 

The cost of messages will vary on how many messages you require.  Message are generally no more than 25 seconds and are blended with license free background music. As part of the service we script the messages from your brief, then have them voice by male and/or female professional voice talent.

LET'S TALK EQUIPMENT
CD format is an immediate affordable solution. The only set back is that due to moving parts .. with time the CD player will breakdown.  Also if you have a power failure and the power comes back up .. the CD will need to be reset to play and repeat.

A solution to the set backs of a CD player is a digital player.  It has no moving parts, therefore no wear and tear. It will automatically play and continuously play the program after a power failure.










Depending on the type of business you operate, your option may be to purchase what you need or to receive on hold messages by a service agreement. What this includes is changing your messages regularly so as to keep the information to callers fresh and up to date. It includes the digital player plus messages and is generally for a period no less than 12 months. 

Rates will vary from $44 per month upwards.
